Cass City, MI — Cass City Red Hawks Junior Varsity defeated Hemlock 12-8 on Monday thanks in part to Hayden Anthes, who drove in four runners. Anthes drove in runs on a triple in the first and a single in the fourth. Both offenses were strong at the plate as Cass City Red Hawks Junior Varsity collected ten hits and Hemlock five in the high-scoring affair Cass City Red Hawks Junior Varsity got things moving in the first inning. Anthes tripled on a 2-2 count, scoring three runs. Hemlock scored four runs in the fifth inning. Hemlock big bats were led by Dunton, Meyer, Vasher, and Kowalski, who all drove in runs.
