Hemet, CA — The Hemet Dogs played an amazing last pre-league game Friday night against a strong opponent in Vista Murrieta. The boys played an amazing game start to finish and dominated the first half taking the lead 1-0 with a great performance by freshmen Joshua Zavala that gave off the ball after fighting for possession of it on top to Dawson Powers that crossed the ball into the box so that Favian Rivera just tapped the ball in. Going into the second half VM was awarded a penalty kick that put them on the scoreboard to make he game 1-1. Both teams didn’t let up but there wasn’t enough time to score another goal. Ernesto Garcia was forced to be subbed due to injury and Zack Gilmore took his spot at goal. Next week league kicks off!
