San Jacinto, CA — Hemet’s Varsity Boys soccer lost their away match against the San Jacinto Tigers. Early goals on the first half lead the game into a 2-0 gap. In the second half the bulldogs had more chances but couldn’t finish. Two more goals lead to the final 4-0 score. Notable on defense were Sophomores Asaiah Aguilar and Garrett Arnold who bodied up and didn’t let themselves be pushed around along with Eric Ramirez who showed the Tigers we don’t let anyone bully the Bulldogs. In the midfield Freshmen Ben Uribe, Sophomore Alex Ponce, Sophomore Gavin Uribe and Junior Marco Aparicio found chemistry and were able to set up plays to give the dogs a chance. This young team has so much potential for future things. As long as we play hard and do our thing we can only go forward. Rest up Dogs as we have Tahquitz at home next.
