Midland, MI — The Dow Charger Baseball Team put together a solid combined pitching performance and timely hitting to beat Traverse City West in the first game of the 2023 season 6-2. Tom Bacigalupo, Nick Bond, Jake Szajenko, and Spencer Serbinski combined to hold the Titans to only 3 hits. Tom Bacigalupo started with a perfect 2 innings and striking out 5 batters. Nick Bond picks up the win pitching a scoreless 3rd and 4 th innings. Offensively, the Chargers were led by Rex Dingman who went 2 for 2 with an RBI and scored a run. Jacob Ahn was 1 for 2 with 2 runs scored.
