Covina, CA — The Charter Oak chargers boys varsity basketball team opened up their game versus Sierra Vista on an 11-0 run which sparked vicious applause and celebration by the charger fans in attendance. Before that moment, the entire student section remained silent as a show of solidarity for their team. Once the chargers scored their 10th point by Jermaine Braddock the fans roared and stormed the court. Fans in attendance wore various costumes and supported their team throughout the evening. The effort was named “silent night.” On the court, the Chargers were led by senior forward Jermaine Braddock who scored a game high 37 points, while Chase Evans tallied 19 points. The Chargers won the contest by score of 77-46.
