Caledonia, MI — The freshmen Fighting Scots out-hit Grandville's Freshman five to four, but it wasn't enough in an 8-3 loss on Thursday The Scots got things moving in the first inning. Elliot Clark drove in one when Clark singled. Grandville Bulldogs Freshman pulled away for good with four runs in the third inning. In the third Lincoln Schachermeyer doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Camden Quigley was on the hill for Caledonia . He went four innings, allowing five runs on three hits and striking out four. Jack Thorton threw one inning in relief. Gabe Trudeau, Quigley, Ryne Wysocki, Garrett Johnson, and Clark each collected one hit to lead Freshmen Caledonia Fighting Scots.
