Grand Haven, MI — The Scots Freshmen team defeated Grand Haven 20-0 in game one on Tuesday. The game lasted three innings with the Scots scoring three runs in the top of the first, adding nine more in the second, and eight more in the third inning. Ryne Wysocki took the mound for the Scots and pitched three scoreless innings allowing only one hit, while striking out nine. The Scots offense had twelve hits, led by Thorton and Lewandowski's three hits, while Clark added two hits as well. Cal also added nine stolen bases during the game with Wysocki's four stolen bases, Haywood's two steals, and Nyman, Lewandowski and Quigley each adding a stole base during the game.
