Rosemount, MN — Burnsville Junior Varsity Blaze lost the lead late in an 8-7 defeat to Rosemount Junior Varsity Irish on Wednesday. The game was tied at seven with Rosemount Junior Varsity Irish batting in the bottom of the sixth when Connor Cote drew a walk, scoring one run. Burnsville Junior Varsity Blaze collected five hits and Rosemount Junior Varsity Irish had five in the high-scoring affair. Rosemount Junior Varsity Irish got things started in the first inning when Tyler Japel doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Burnsville Junior Varsity Blaze scored four runs in the third inning. Burnsville Junior Varsity Blaze's big bats in the inning were led by a walk by Brandon Einberger, a single by Ben Woelfel, and a sac fly by Jack Skoglund.
