The game was tied at two with Lakeville South JV Cougars batting in the bottom of the eighth when an error scored one run for Lakeville South JV Cougars. The pitching was strong on both sides. Lakeville South JV Cougars pitchers struck out seven, while Burnsville Junior Varsity Blaze sat down three. In the top of the fifth inning, Burnsville Junior Varsity Blaze tied things up at two. Burnsville Junior Varsity Blaze scored one run when Brandon Einberger singled. Carson Walker led things off on the hill for Lakeville South JV Cougars.
