Massillon, OH — Jake Sweetnich (5-0) went 6 innings striking out 6 and kept the Viking hitters off balance all evening. Carter Mottice, Eric Freetage and Carson Pastorius all collected two hits on the day. Garrett Wright (3 RBIs) added the exclamation point with a solo homerun in the 6th to capped off the scoring for the Bears. Jackson moves to 21-6 on the season and will play Massillon 2pm in the District Semi-Final game next Tues at Thurman Munson Stadium.
