Santa Fe Springs, CA — The Chiefs rebounded from earlier setbacks with an offensive display in their second game of the day beating Charter Oak High School 5-0. The Chiefs were led by Nathaniel Santana who assisted on the second and scored the third goal (assisted by Daniel Ruvalcaba). Louis Guardado opened the scoring with a tight angled shot which was followed up by Ivan Rivera who was put through the center of the defense by Santana. Gerlyn Rojas scored the Chiefs fourth goal with an outstanding individual effort and Kyle Mallory capped the scoring with a nice first time strike assisted by Oscar Tostado. The defensive back line did an excellent job stopping any Charter Oak chances.
