Bloomfield Hills, MI — Tuesday evening saw the Irish Soccer Team travel to Cranbrook for the 3rd confrence game of the season. Cranbrook earned the win in an exciting game with pressure from both sides. The Cranes scored first after finding a scoring opportunity behind the Irish defenders 15min in. A second goal came later in the first half after Max Leslie made a save in front of net and the team was unable to clear the ball. In the final minutes of the half Nathaniel Cherney crossed the ball onto the back post for, Freshman, Ian Bryants first Goal of the season. Ian made a great read and found the end of the pass headding the ball in to put FGR on the scoreboard just before half. In the second half The Irish gave away another goal after a misscommunication between the Defense and the Goalie. Continueing to challange, the Irish found a second goal with an assist from Eathan Brink to Vincent Redente. The game eneded with a loss for FGR, but the game was exciting and could have gone wither way. We really saw the team compete well agains one of the top teams from our confrence.
