Ventura, CA — Buena faced rival Ventura in a cross town rival that no matter the teams record, it’ll be a close one. Coming off a week of great preparation the bulldogs were full of confidence. Christian Quezada returned a kickoff return back for a touchdown in the first half. Buenas defense tightened up in the second half with Ventura pushing & mashing the ball. Blake Eberhard threw a long touchdown pass to Dhylon Sanchez in the 4th quarter to make it 22-13. Ventura soon answered back and made it 22-20 late in the 4th quarter.
