Saugus, CA — The game last night was a huge step forward for the team. The question was can we build on a solid performance against Hart . The answer is an emphatic YES. Nina actually scored a perfectly good goal before Saugus scored. Yes we didn’t let a diabolical ref decision or a very well taken Saugus goal get us down. We continued to play our game and be solid defensively to Half time. In the second half we came out more offensively and scored three well taken and well worked goals. Taya s second goal with some patient build up play is possibly one of the best goals I have seen in youth soccer…. And I’ve been around a long time.
