Higganaum, CT — The 14U Connecticut Timberwolves collected their first victory in the new age division by opening the Wolcott Fall League by beating the Shoreline Breakers 14U, 15-4. The TWolves cracked 12 hits, including two each from Camilla Torres, Victoria Dobrydney and Nuala Matthews. Lyla Del Rossi, Tammy Lombardo, Avery Kipperman, Adisyn Magliocco and Nadia Stubbs all drove in runs. Vanessa Swan smashed a booming double to the CF wall to put the exclamation point on the game. Lyla Del Rossi (1-2) was dominating in earning her first win of the Fall, striking out 4, walking none and allowing just one hit. Avery Kipperman went two innings and allowed three runs in closing the game out. The Timberwolves defense was flawless, committing zero errors.
