Terryville, CT — The Connecticut Timberwolves traveled to Terryville on Friday, splitting two games with the 14U CT Titans. The T-Wolves took Game 1 by a score of 6-4, led by a fantastic performance on the mound by Lyla Del Rossi. Del Rossi went the distance, allowing just two earned runs while striking out 6 and walking just two. Del Rossi helped her cause with a clutch 2-run single in the 3rd inning where the T-Wolves put up a 5-spot. Camilla Torres smacked a two-run single as well and Izzy Burgos continued her hot hitting with an rbi single. Burgos made the play of the game with an over the shoulder catch in deep right center-field. Game 2 saw the Timberwolves struggle, with the Titans winning 11-0. Torres and Nuala Matthews accounted for the only hits as the Titans pitching was fantastic, walking just one batter. With the split, the Timberwolves fell to 4-6-1 on the Fall Season.
