Palm Springs, CA — The Palm Springs High School Lady Indians were outmatched by the Xavier College Prep Saints on Wednesday, October 16 by a score of 1-17. The lone set won was posted by the doubles team of Madison Barrick and Isabel Sesma, who won their set by a score of 6-2. In addition to Madison and Izzy, two other players from Palm Springs were awarded game balls for their tough play. Both Kendyl Na Val and Henley Hemstreet played well in their matches in singles action, fighting hard against some players with a considerable amount more experience. The Lady Indians close out their regular season dual match play when they face Palm Desert at home on Wednesday, October 18. The match is scheduled to start at 3:15 p.m. The season concludes with the Desert Empire League Individual Tournament which starts Tuesday, October 24 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Rancho Mirage. The tournament will start at 1:00 p.m. Vamos Indians!
