Pine Bush, NY — In a thrilling game under the lights, Pine Bush emerged with the win against Red Hook by a final score of 3-1. The scoring highlights included goals by Kailey Fobert, assisted by Kara Wittenberg off of a well executed corner play. Coming back from an injury earlier in the game, Abby Hansen netted a goal in the third quarter, assisted by Leah O'Donnell. Early into the fourth quarter, Kara Wittenberg found the back of the cage with a goal unassisted. In goal Grace Grant made 8 saves, while Avery Rossello stood strong with 10. This special “Pink Out” game was in support of Cancer Awareness with the team making a dedication to their loved ones and all those affected by cancer. It was a memorable night of field hockey and support for a worthy cause. With this win, Pine Bush improves their season record to 6-4.
