Trumbull, CT — The 14U Connecticut Timberwolves had a dominating Sunday at Trumbull High School, defeating the Brewster Rockets 10-2 and 13-5. Adisyn Magliocco started and earned her first win of the Fall in Game 1, going 3 1/3 innings, allowing no hits and striking out 8 in a dominating performance. Magliocco helped herself with an rbi single. Victoria Dobrydney knocked in 2 with a single and added a walk, Izzy Burgos added a single, rbi and walk and Mackenzie Jacobs added an rbi single as well. The Timberwolves walked 7 times. Game 2 featured another good offensive performance. Camilla Torres singled, walked, drove in a run, stole 2 bases and scored 3 runs. Dobrydney singled, walked, scored two runs and stole three bases. Nadia Stubbs drove a single to the gap, walked, stole a base and added a run scored. Avery Kipperman knocked in 2 in a clutch spot with two outs. Jacobs added a two-run single down the left feld line. Tammy Lombardo walked twice and scored two runs. Vanessa Swan added a single and scored a run as well. Lamis Haider drove in 2 runs. Lyla Del Rossi earned her 5th win of the Fall season, coming in relief and shutting down Brewster, allowing no hits and striking out 8 in three spotless innings of work. With the win, the Timberwolves improved to 6-6-1 in the Fall Season.
