Tonganoxie, KS — THS JV got a hard fought win today. Louisburg was first to score on a hard shot to the corner. Luka G answered with a goal of his own to tie the score back up. Chieftain defense struggled in the first half and allowed another LHS goal late in the first half. Louisburg to the lead into halftime After halftime was a different story. Tongie found a spark and dominated the second half. Joe W adding 2 goals of his own to put the Chieftains back in front. The defense held strong in the second half, putting up the shut out. THS 3- LHS 2 Special shout out to Zaryan G for taking a direct kick to his glasses causing a deep cut. Z wanted to play so bad, that he had the athletic trainer tape him up and jumped right back in the game. The toughness of this team is unreal!!! We have had stitches, torn off toe nails and battled many bumps and bruises.
