Josh keeps getting better. He made some clutch saves when the game was still 0-0 that could have turned the emotional tide of the match. Josh is a fearless and formidable competitor.

CO-MVP

Tyler Reid

Tyler had himself a game. He broke the deadlocked match with a goal in the 49th minute off of a corner. He also led the back line in balls won and tackles made. He was strong in the air and on the ground including a couple of clutch 1v1 situations.

Tyler Valdez

Tyler is the heart and soul of the midfield and his leadership and relentless desire to go forward kept Tustin on their heels every minute he was in the game. He assisted the first goal and left everything on the field for his team.

Kevin Ambrocio

Kevin has a nose for goal and picked up his second rebound goal of the season tonight. He also assisted on Jacob Garcia's goal that was the final nail in the coffin for the Tillers. Kevin was a nightmare for Tustin to deal with in the attacking third of the field.

Victory for the Knights!

Santa Ana, CA — The Foothill Varsity Mens Soccer team took on their crosstown rivals Tustin this evening at Foothill High School under the lights. The Tillers fans showed up in droves to support their team and occupied nearly both stands of the Lilliputian Foothill turf seating. The faithful supporters of the Black and Gold lined the field in standing room only fashion to cheer their team on. Both teams came into the night with previous away wins - Foothill beating Irvine 3-0 and Tustin beating Newport Harbor 1-0. While only the second game of the season, both teams clearly had tonight's game circled in red.
