Pine Bush, NY — On a wet Saturday matchup, Pine Bush secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Coxsackie-Athens in their last league game of the regular season. The team scored twice from penalty corners. Kara Wittenberg netted the first goal with an assist from Leah O’Donnell, and Meaghan Wishinski followed suit with the second goal, assisted by Kara Wittenberg. Kailey Fobert added another goal on a breakaway, with Madelyn Carpenter providing the assist. Fobert wasn't done, scoring her second goal, this time assisted by Abby Hansen. Defensively, Grace Grant recorded a save while Avery Rossello contributed with two, ensuring a shutout. With this win, Pine Bush closes out regular season play with an 8-4 record, earning the third seed in the MHAL league standings. The team will now gear up to face the second seed, Rondout Valley, on October 17th at 4:30pm in Rondout.
