Newburgh, NY — NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Kingston High's boys soccer team knocked off archrival and second-seeded Newburgh Free Academy 3-0 on Tuesday to advance to the Section 9 Class AAA title game. Andrew Foster, Caden Fitzgerald and Keegan Oxford netted the goals for the third-seeded Tigers (10-4-1). Foster scored on a penalty kick and assisted on Fitzgerald's goal. "The back line of Rafael Castillo, Chase Fromson, Noah Circe and Fabian Penagos were brilliant along with keeper Chris Redding, who made four saves," Kingston coach Dan Hoffay said. Kingston will face fourth-seeded Middletown (11-4-1) in the AAA championship game at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Goshen High. The Middie Bears upset top-seeded Monroe-Woodbury 1-0 in overtime in the other semifinal game on Tuesday.
