Racine, WI — Andrew Mitchell was dominant on the hill again, as he rang up 11 strikeouts in the Zee-Bees 12-0 victory over the Racine-Horlick Rebels on Saturday. Mitchell allowed one hit and no runs over five innings of work, walking two. The Bees starting the scoring in the top of the first when after two singles from Dominic Diliberti and Brayden Duran, Rafael Villalobos Jr. singled, scoring two runs. Andrew Mitchell helped his own cause in the first, driving in Villalobos Jr. Jack Marabella drove in the final two runs of the inning, singling to center, driving in Michael Gonzalez and Ivan Jones (who was running for Mitchell.) Michael Gonzalez added to the scoring in the second inning when he hit into a fielder's choice, scoring Jaxon Zaugra. The Bee's scored again in the 4th, when AJ Neargarder singled, driving in Brayden Duran, who had doubled earlier. The Zee-Bees finished their scoring output in the top of the 5th. Dominic Diliberti drove in Kaden Oatsvall and Dominik Leith, who had walked. Michael Gonzalez also singled driving in Jaxon Zaugra and Brayden Duran. Andrew Mitchell added his second RBI of the day in the inning driving in Michael Gonzalez. The Bees piled up 13 total hits in the game. Michael Gonzalez provided pop in the middle of the lineup, leading Zion-Benton with three RBI's. Andrew Mitchell also went 3-4 at the plate. Dominic Diliberti, Rafael Villalobos Jr., Jack Marabella, and Brayden Duran each collected multiple hits. Next up for the Zee-Bees is a home game against Lake Zurich on Monday.
