Tucson, AZ — After flying high against the Sabino Sabercats on Tuesday, the Empire Ravens came back down to earth. Empire took a 58-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of Amphitheater. Empire has struggled against Amphitheater recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup. Several Ravens players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tre Perkins , who scored 13 points along with 6 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Deshawn Washington, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. Empire has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Amphitheater, they now have a winning record of 4-3. Empire will look to defend their home court on Monday against Desert View at 7:00 p.m. As for Amphitheater, they will head out on the road to face off against Safford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Safford is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
