Laguna Beach, CA — April 16, 2024 In a competitive junior varsity level high school golf match, the teams from Laguna Beach High School and Corona Del Mar High School clashed at the picturesque Ben Browns Golf Course in Laguna Beach, California. In a tightly contested battle over nine challenging holes, Corona Del Mar emerged victorious 196 to 201. The narrow fairways and scenic beauty of Ben Browns Golf Course provided the perfect backdrop for an exciting non-league match, with each player striving to navigate the course with precision and skill. The competition was fierce from start to finish, with every stroke proving crucial in determining the outcome. Corona Del Mar's Brooks Buckley delivered a standout performance, shooting (+3) 35 on the par 32 course. This was the low score of the day, which earned him match medalist honors. Despite the loss, Laguna Beach's JV team continues to play very competitively with all the Sunset Conference teams.
