South Pasadena, CA — The South Pasadena Varsity Tigers played an excellent game on Thursday in a tournament game against Cathedral High School. Benjamin Regan started the game on the bump, going six innings and striking out four. Charlie Vogel didn't give up any runs pitching in the seventh. In the bottom of the seventh, down 3-1, the Tigers started to mount a comeback. Nolan Adams got on base through an error, followed by a triple by Aaron Kawasaki. The Tigers scattered 5 hits, including singles from Jesse Chavez, Jon Bracamonte, and Leo Castillo Jr. The defense was excellent as well, including two dazzling plays by Dylan Liu and second base.
