South Pasadena, CA — The South Pasadena Varsity Tigers played well but were unable to muster any runs against the La Habra Highlanders at home on Wednesday. Benjamin Regan went a strong six innings, striking out four and giving up two earned runs. At one point, Regan set down 12 Highlanders in a row. Gabe Vogel pitched the seventh inning, striking out two. Elijah Garcia, Jon Bracamonte, and Leo Castillo Jr. each singled and Garcia stole two bases. The Tigers will face their first league opponent, Temple City, on Thursday, February 29.
