West Covina, CA — The South Pasadena Varsity Tigers were strong on the mound, at the plate, and in the field against South Hills High School, but ultimately came up short 3-1. Benjamin Regan threw a complete game, striking out two and holding the D1 powerhouse Huskies to three runs over six innings. The Tigers had six hits in the game, including two by Devin Robinson Jr., and one each by Elijah Garcia, Griffin Johnson, Jon Bracamonte, and Leo Castillo Jr. The run scored in the sixth when Luke Riffle walked, Johnson singled, and Robinson hit a line drive to center. South Pasadena returns to league play on Monday, March 11 against San Marino.
