La Cañada, CA — The South Pasadena Tigers shut out the La Canada Spartans 9-0 on Monday. The Tiger bats were hot, racking up 12 hits. Nolan Adams and Elijah Garcia had three hits each, including a double by Adams. Leo Castillo had a single and double, and Aaron Kawasaki hit a triple in the top of the seventh inning. Other hits were by Griffin Johnson, Charlie Vogel, and Devin Robinson, who had a double. It turns out the Tigers didn't need all that offense with Benjamin Regan on the mound. Regan pitched a complete game shutout, striking out seven and allowing only one hit. The victory brings the Tigers to 5-2 in league play.
