San Marino, CA — The Tigers evened the series against the Titans in a thrilling game on Monday. South Pasadena came out swinging in the first inning, scoring three runs when Jonathon Bracamonte hit a bases-clearing double to left field. In the top of the fifth, the Tigers scored three more runs. There were nine hits in all, including three by Devin Robinson, two each by Luke Riffle and Leo Castillo, and one each by Nolan Adams and Jon Bracamonte. Adams was on the mound, striking out six and giving up two earned runs. Charlie Vogel came in to pitch with two outs in the sixth and struck out the Titan batter to preserve the 6-5 score. Vogel came back out in the seventh, getting the last two batters to strike out with the bases loaded. An exciting win for the Tigers who have now won five in a row.
