Bethlehem, PA — Freedom Patriots JV played 5 innings of solid baseball with their only hiccups being how the game started and ended. Darien Serrano got the start on the mound and was untouchable not giving up a single hit to Easton. Trouble came in the form of 3 walks and an error in the top half of the 1st resulting in a 3 run deficit to start the game. Freedom would battle back, with 1 run in the 2nd on a Collier sac fly and 1 run in the 3rd on a homerun to center off the bat of Renshaw. The Pates would add 2 more runs to take the lead in the bottom of the fifth with the score 4-3. Serrano would go on to pitch 5 innings of no hit baseball striking out 8 Red Rovers. Rodriguez would come in for Freedom and pick up right where Serrano left off tossing 2 innings of no hit baseball and striking out 4, but walks and errors would continue to be the Achilles heel for Freedom resulting in Easton plating the go ahead run in the top of the 7th which would prove to be the deciding run of the game. Renshaw had the homerun and lead Tge Patriots with 2 hits on the day while the team posted 8 hits total.
