Whitehall, PA — The first two innings of Freedoms game against Whitehall resulted in both teams exchanging jabs leaving the score 1-1 after 2 innings. Francera singled in the first run for Freedom followed by and RBI single from Warren in the 3rd leaving the score 2-1. Sarkozy was on the mound to start and after surrendering 1 run in the first, the sophomore went on to throw three shutout innings, giving up only 2 hits, while striking out 3. The 5th inning proved to be where Freedom would create distance between them and the Zephyrs. Renshaw tripled after a Serrano walk to score Serrano. Hauze followed that with an RBI single eventually scoring himself on a passed ball. The score was 5-1 in favor of Freedom when Stofanak came in to relieve Sarkozy on the mound. Stofanak pitch two shout out innings recording 4 strikeouts. Freedom would add 2 runs in the top of 7th off a Haas double scoring Hauze and a pass ball scoring Haas. Plasco would come in for Freedom to shut down Whitehall and close the game out resulting in the 7-1 Victory.
