Bethlehem, PA — Freedom Baseball has taken advantage of a stretch of mid-season games that on paper they should win, but this is the game of baseball. Also, on this five game winning streak, two of those wins have been conference games and those are never easy games. They are doing all the small things well and focusing on fundamental baseball. They kept that effort up today with another outstanding all around game. John Phillips had a stellar start on the mound surrendering 0 walks. The defense behind him played another mistake free game along with Kiefner behind the plate with another assist. And finally, the offense stayed hot totaling 16 hits lead by Michael Cobbs 3 hits and Chase Walkers 4RBIs. The team has set themselves up to use this confidence and make a strong run down the last half of the season on the way to accomplishing the goals of a deep league run and a District Playoff birth. Hope to see you out at Freedom for a game against Northampton on Saturday.
