PB Girls Lax Displays Grit in Tough Battle Against Warwick Valley

Pine Bush, NY — In a hard-fought game against Warwick Valley, Pine Bush showed resilience despite the 12-7 loss. Despite Warwick's offensive pressure, the team mounted a consistent counter-attack in the second half. Julia Tanner, Sophia Licardi, and Fiona Varley contributed with two goals each, while Sam Budney added one. Leah Meberg and Alle Pierpoint anchored a sturdy defense, supported by Kate Harris and Julia Tanner's crucial interceptions and ground balls. Grace Grant's 10 saves in goal kept the team in the game. Although falling short, the team put forth a commendable effort and continues to learn and improve in each game. Pine Bush moves to 3-2 on the season.
