Easton, PA — The Easton Area Junior Varsity Rovers piled up 7 hits and 16 runs in just three innings to defeat the E Stroudsburg North Timberwolves on Friday afternoon at Charles Richards field in Easton. The JV Rovers won thanks in part to ten runs in the first inning. Easton followed that with six in the bottom of the second. Jack Miller started on the mound for the JV Rovers. Miller threw two innings and struck out six. Sophomore Dani Diaz appeared in the final frame striking out the side and walking two. The JV Rovers are back at Richards field Saturday afternoon to take on an out-of-state opponent Acton-Boxborough (MA) at 2 pm.
