Nampa, ID — Skyview Hawks beat Columbia Wildcats 7-5 on a rainy evening at Skyview. Skyview opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to three singles. Keegan Sullivan singled, scoring two runs to get the Hawks on the score board. A double play extended the Hawks lead to 5-2 in the bottom of the third inning. Skyview Hawks committed an error, which helped Columbia tie the game at five in the top of the fifth. The Hawks hit into a ground ball into a fielders choice scoring the go ahead run in the bottom of the fifth. Skyview added one more run in the sixth on a ground ball error by Columbia’s 3rd baseman. The Hawks play again next Tuesday vs Ridgevue.
