Nampa, ID — Skyview had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.9 runs), and they went ahead and made it nine on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Ridgevue Warhawks. That's more bragging rights for Skyview, who also won the pair's last head-to-head. Skyview got a great performance from Gradyen Lucas as he tossed six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only one hit. On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Noah Palomares, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple. Another player making a difference was Tyler Russell, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Skyview pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs per game. As for Ridgevue, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6. Skyview will head out on the road to square off against Vallivue at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Skyview's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Vallivue's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
