Nampa, ID — Skyview defeated Emmett 11-1 on Friday thanks in part to six runs in the first inning. Keegan Sullivan hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Camden Tucker singled, scoring one run, Elvis Pajazetovic singled, scoring two runs, and Anthony Barker grounded out, scoring two runs. A single by Camden Tucker extended the Skyview Hawks lead to 7-0 in the bottom of the second inning. Keegan Sullivan earned the win for Skyview. The starting pitcher surrendered two hits and one run over four innings, striking out nine and walking three. Parker Kons pitched one inning of shutout ball for Skyview Hawks in relief. He allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none. Skyview accumulated 13 hits in the game. John Tyson went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Skyview in hitting. Elvis Pajazetovic, Camden Tucker, and Parx Johnston each drove in two runs for Skyview Hawks. Marcus Martinez collected two hits for Skyview in three at bats. Skyview were sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Next up for the Hawks is a game at Caldwell next Tuesday where they plan to also complete their previous game that was stopped because of weather and light.
