South Pasadena, CA — The Tigers went into CIF playoffs with high hopes, and although they came up just short, there was a lot to be impressed by in the game. Nolan Adams finished his SPHS baseball career with yet another gem, giving up only one run over seven innings and striking out five. He needed only 77 pitches as he kept the Segerstrom Jaguars off balance with his mix of pitches. Unfortunately, the Jaguars had some strong pitching of their own, and the Tigers couldn't mount an attack, despite Aaron Kawasaki's excellent 3-for-3 game. The Tigers should be proud of what they have accomplished this season and will be back next year with a league title on their mind.
