The Bushmen came out strong, scoring on their first three drives to take a commanding 20-7 lead into halftime, and never looked back. Pine Bush’s offense was clicking on all cylinders, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for two more. The defense was equally impressive, forcing three key turnovers – one interception and two fumble recoveries – to shut down Valley Central’s offensive efforts. The win improves Pine Bush’s record to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in Class AA play. Up next, the Bushmen will travel to Monroe-Woodbury for their second league game of the season, kicking off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
