Bethlehem, PA — In the Circle Morgan Laub was nearly perfect allowing 1 hit and facing the minimum of batter through 6 innings. Behind her was solid and clean defense all game long, highlighted with a diving catch by Nya Brown and a double play by the middle infield combo of McFetridge-Shultz-Muth (6-4-3). At the plate, we took some time engaging in a hitting plan. We were up there swinging for a hit rather than thinking out an approach. Or intensity at the plate (and on offense) in general, we were a little to conservative at times, which allowed the game to stay close for far to long. We have to make teams play at our level, at the plate and on the bases.
