Recap
ventura, CA — For the first time in team history the Might Mite Warriors fall below 500. This week’s loss was another tough one. The Warriors were well matched in skill, but when one assignment seems to be executed another broke down. The Ventura Packers also had twice as many players with a full offense and defense. The Warriors were down to 15 teammates who played almost the entire game. No excused - the Warriors didn’t have their best showing.
The offense was carried by Levi Bradshaw who flashed his agility and speed when he broke a 60 yard TD run up the middle. Dylan Fruchtman completed the first two passes of his career. Both passes were caught by ball carried Levi Bradshaw.
The Warrior's defense had a long day. We collapsed around the edge and turnovers put the defense in poor field position almost every drive. Joseph Martinez led the team with tackles and Dylan, Levi, and Johnny all recorded tackles for loss.
Levi caught a kick return on the run which was a lot of fun for everyone. The Warriors also lost a kick return to the Packers which led to a touchdown.
With a bye week this week the team has gone back to basics and conditioning. Energy is high, the team is learning what it means to be a team, and we love football.
