Santa Clarita, CA — The boys played a hard fought game against Golden Valley. Though we weren't able to secure a win, we did come away with the draw. We moved the ball well offensively, building several plays out from the mid field and, creating a few scoring opportunities, that we weren't able to convert into solid strikes for us. Mateo Maximo played an excellent game for us between the posts, like he has done in every game throughout our season, keeping another clean sheet. His abilities as a keeper were very obvious, as he came up with several big saves, specially late in the 2nd half as Golden Valley increased their attacks. There is no doubt, that it was Mateo's presence as our keeper that earned us the draw.
