West Sacramento, CA — The Sac High Lady Dragons fell behind 16-1 in the first quarter and was never able to get on track in a 44-33 loss to the West Park Panthers. Sac High could only muster up a free throw in the opening quarter with 22 turnovers (40 total for the game) and couldn't get closer than 7 points the rest of the way. Sac High outscored West Park 19-13 to close the gap to 29-20 by halftime, but struggled to hit shots in the second half. Despite holding West Park to 16 second half points, the Lady Dragons scored only 13, including just 5 in the fourth quarter. Sac High was led by La Ne Dunn's 17 points and 19 rebounds, but no other player was in double figures. The loss drops Sac High to 3-2 and they look to rebound on Friday against Center High School.
