Valencia, CA — In very challenging conditions the girls were able to play some good soccer. In the first half we were really forcing the game and pressing high with the wind at our backs. We had numerous chances that were created but only one goal to show for it whilst Canyon had one chance and scored. It felt a little like the West Ranch game where we could not finish off our opponents. At HT we talked about not getting frustrated , continue to move the ball quickly and play into the spaces. We also needed to keep the ball on the ground as the wind really started to pick up in our faces. Credit to the girls they delivered a fantastic second half performance scoring a couple great goals to secure a deserved 3-1 win.
