Millbrook, NY — The Pine Bush Bushmen came out strong on Saturday, holding off a late comeback from the Millbrook Blazers to secure a 58-52 victory in front of a packed crowd. From the opening tip, Pine Bush took control of the game, demonstrating both offensive firepower and tight defense. The Bushmen quickly jumped to an early lead in the first quarter, outscoring the Blazers 19-10. With crisp ball movement and impressive shooting, they extended their advantage to 32-19 by halftime. The Blazers struggled to find their rhythm, but Pine Bush’s defense forced them into tough shots, while the Bushmen capitalized on fast breaks and offensive rebounds. Millbrook came out with renewed energy in the second half, mounting a strong comeback in the third quarter.
