Medford, OR — Senior guard Angelica Arce caught fire in the first quarter, scoring 13 of her 15 points in the opening frame to spark Cascade Christian’s girls to a 55-34 win over Phoenix in the Christmas Classic semifinals. The Challengers girls outscored the Pirates 21-4 to open the game. Isabel McCauley led the Challengers with 25 points, and Emma Coats went for double figures with 11. With the win, CCHS advances to play Cascade in the tournament finals Saturday at 6 p.m. With the win, Cascade Christian is 5-1 and ranked 8th in the OSAA’s 3A power rankings. Tonight’s game will be streamed on Table Rock Sports.
