Parlin, NJ — The Sayreville Bombers defeated Union Farmers 53-51 in overtime to win the Battle at the Bomb Shelter Holiday Tournament. Junior Chidi Chukwurah made the game winner with 1 second left on the clock. Chukwurah finished the game with 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Bombers. Keithan Shuler filled up the stat sheet with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Sam Jones added 9 points and 5 rebounds. Jones also assisted on the game winning Chukwurah bucket. Joe Santamaria received the Blue Collar Mentality Hard Hat. The Bombers wrapped up 2024 with a 5-1 record. The Bombers are back in action January 2 at North Brunswick High School at 5:30pm.
