Salem, OR — Looking to score an elusive tournament championship—Cascade Christian had finished as runners-up in two earlier tournaments—the Challengers had a tall task in their quest in the form of top-ranked Amity. It was a nip-and-tuck battle early, but Amity pulled away to capture the green bracket crown at the Crusader Classic in Salem on Saturday. Isabel McCauley had 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks for the 7-3 Challengers. Jordynn Jones added 10 points, five rebounds and two assists.
